scheduled to begin in less then two weeks on April 13th at L.A.

Why race with Mid-America Lighting
Sprints? I would say first and for most to
promote our sport of Lightning Sprints. We have put together a six race
schedule this season that puts us in front of large groups of open wheel fans
and new tracks which also mean’s new lightning sprint car fans. This allows
drivers to run special events and still support their local clubs.
But
let’s say you don’t care about promoting our sport? Let say your in it for the goodies!! Well here they are,, each

ya go!!!! Three of the Mid-America
Lightning Sprints Presented by Jayhawk Millwright races will be double header
weekend. Midwest Lightning Sprints will be racing the first night. And
Mid-America Lightning Sprints will be racing the second night. So if you
compete in both events the MLS race pays $500 to win sponsored by Jayhawk
Millwright. And the Mid-America Lightning Sprint Presented by Jayhawk Millwright
pays its standard payout of $650. So if you win both nights you will pocket
$1150. Again this is not just one weekend this year, it is three weekends you will
have the potential to take home not just good money, GREAT MONEY!!

with this email is our 2013 registration form. Please print off and fill out
before your first race with MALS. Once we have you on file you will not be ask
to fill this out again. Please fill out this form completely. The information
is critical for our records and will be very helpful in writing race reports
after our events. We will have pre-tech before your first race. You only have
to be teched one time per year and will receive a tech sticker indicating this.
We have also had stickers made up of the MALS logo that you will be required to
run on your outside top wing. This helps us in promoting our events. You will
be giving two of these stickers at the first race you attend. We will also be
taking pictures throughout the night and after the event with the top three
drivers. Please keep you’re driving suits on for these photos as it looks more
professional. We also have a small checker flag for the winner of the feature
to autograph at the start finish line. This will be given out to one lucky
youth through the fencing. This usually brings a good response and is just
another way of promoting ourselves. Other procedures will be covered at our
first drivers meeting so don’t be late!!
As
with any race weekends sometimes weather gets the best of us. This is how we
will handle inclement weather. One week before the race event I will post the
track phone number and track web site on the forum. If you are traveling a
great distance please email me your phone number at mbillingsracing@gmail.com and make
sure I have it. I will text you if I know you are in route and there is a
cancellation due to weather. Travelers will be the first people we notify. We
will also post a cancellation notice on our forum at http://midwestlightningsprints.freeforums.org/
