After a very successful trip west to Dodge City KS that saw a 24 car field, Mid-America Lightning Sprints presented by Jayhawk Millwright turns its attention east to Flora IL this Saturday July 19th. At this weekend’s venue MALS will be teaming up with the Indiana based MMSA Lightning Sprint organization. With the large numbers of lightning sprint cars based in Indiana and Illinois we are expected this again to be a very well participated event and likewise HOTTLY contested. This event will pay a guaranteed purse of $650 to win and $100 to start.

Mid-America Lightning sprints will then turn its attention back to local venues with back to back weeks of racing. MALS first race back in Missouri will be our second appearance and final show for 2014 at Central Missouri Speedway in Warrensburg MO on Aug. 2nd On this night CMS is celebrating our future racers with kid’s night at the speedway. To help celebrate kid’s night Mid-America Lightning Sprint racers have donating two new bikes to be given away at the end of our feature event on the front stretch.  MALS cars and drivers will also be parked in the infield at intermission for a meet and greet with our fans. CMS also has a foot race planned for the kids at the same time.

The following weekend on Aug 9th MALS makes its 2014 debuted at Nevada speedway as our first event was postponed due to rain. This event is always a fan and driver’s favorite as our drivers will also be lined up on the front stretch for an autograph session with them. Also thanks to Kent Transportation MALS will have a $100 cash hard charger award to be given out.

Both the CMS and Nevada speedway race will pay $500 to win and $125 to start. As you can see Mid-America Lightning Sprints has something for everyone.   Join the fastest winged lightning sprint group in the Midwest. For more information go to www.midamericalightningsprints.com
