We hope everyone is enjoying their summer as there has been some great racing with great payout to be had for all Mid-America Lightning Sprint races this season. As the season is winding down there are still several shows that you can participate in. The first is this weekend on Aug. 30th for a special Labor Day weekend show at Central Missouri Speedway in Warrensburg MO, which is paying $650 to win and $100 to start. Then how about a road trip to Putnamville Indiana’s Lincoln Park Speedway for the MALS/MMSA Fall Brawl show on Sept. 20th The final show for Mid-America Lightning Sprint presented by Jayhawk Millwright racers this season is our Grand Finally double header weekend at Chandler Motor Speedway on Oct. 10th and then the next night Oct. 11th at the Historic Tri State Speedway, Haubstadt IN. This race is being dubbed the Border War show as this show will showcase the best of the best in this area from MO, IL, IN, OH, WI and other states. Both events are combined again with MMSA.

One schedule update is with possible decreased car counts at both the MALS race and the MSL race at I-35, MALS with consent of the Nevada track owner decided the prudent thing to do is cancel the Sept. 13th race and focus on races there next year. Also don’t forget that November 1st there will be a meeting to discuss the 2015 season’s rules, schedule, promotions and direction of Mid-America Lightning Sprints. Location will be announced in the next few weeks. We hope everyone that has wanted to races with MALS has and the guys who have had issues can come to one of our few remaining shows. If you want to race with the fasted winged Lightning Sprint Cars in Mid-America come race with Mid-America Lightning Sprints presented by Jayhawk Millwright
